If ever there’s a time to make and circulate pretty little things, it’s the holidays. Create for Less approached me about trying a new gold spray paint and I was all for it—who doesn’t love trying out new products? So I got to work with some air dry clay and my new spray paint. I had originally thought to create one of those gold spiky sea urchin looking objects but that project didn’t pan out as expected so I moved on to making little gift embellishments that could double as an ornament.I started rolling my clay but quickly got to thinking that there had to be an easier way.Enter my son’s play dough press!I shaped the clay into words and objects on a sheet of aluminum foil and let them dry. I flipped them over and continued letting them dry after several hours. Then both sides got a few coats of paint.I see the little gift embellishments being tied to a bag or taped to a card……then transitioning onto a Christmas tree!
I received product from Create for Less for review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Do you like sticking these kinda tschotske on your tree? Have you tried this brand of spray paint before?
